Samsung’s Watch Active 4 leaks in new renders

Renderings of Samsung’s unannounced smartwatch, dubbed the Galaxy Watch Active 4, have leaked online, showing the wearable best since Samsung’s first Tizen. Rendering from leaker OnLeaks and GizNext, showing a smartwatch with a full-width display and two buttons on the right, but no rotating crown or bezel. Samsung will present the watch at an event “reimagining the smartwatch” on June 28th.

Samsung’s next-generation smartwatch is an important moment for the company. After months of rumors, the company announced in May that it would merge the previously used Tizen operating system with Google’s Wear OS to create a new OS, tentatively called “Wear”. The new joint effort claims to mean better battery life and load times, but it should simplify things for app developers who need to target fewer operating systems for their software.

According to GizNext, Samsung’s Watch Active 4 is said to be available in black, green, silver, gold and two sizes: 44mm and 40mm. It is also said to be running a 5nm processor. one, SamMobile Reports that the watch’s gold color scheme is closer to the rose gold color than shown in the rendering.

The render shows a watch that looks like the successor to the 2019 Galaxy Watch Active 2, with no rotating bezels for a sleeker look. If this report is correct, it appears that Samsung has skipped the Watch Active 3 in order to sync the smartwatch’s Active lineup number with the regular Galaxy Watch. (The Galaxy Watch 3 was released last year.) SamMobile It was reported that the Galaxy Watch 4 could be announced in August.
