Samsung’s new Galaxy Watch gets a walkie talkie feature of its own

Samsung has launched a new Walkie Talkie app for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic. The release of the app was reported as follows: XDA Developer, but its development is in May Sam Mobile Before the official announcement of the watch. You can download it now through the Google Play Store.

The app’s release comes after Apple added similar features to the Apple Watch in 2018 with WatchOS 5. However, while Apple’s push-to-talk (PTT) walkie-talkie feature only allows two people to communicate at a time, Samsung supports “more than two users” via settings. That said, the only two wearable listings currently listed as compatible with the app on the Play Store, as long as you can find enough people using the Wear OS 3-based Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic.
